FAMILY TREE (WH QUESTION - VERB TO BE) 






PRESENTATION:  
Level: Basic (A1) - 5th Grade 


Each student will observe each image that the teacher will give in the activity, which will be with images, the student that recognize the imagen raised hand to respond, equally its written form, likewise it’s going to project a little family video (would have Spanish part).

Then the teacher introduces the grammatical structure to use “verb to be”, that student can pass on English to Spanish the sentences that work in the activity.

Structure using “Verb to be” :

Interrogative : WH ( question) + verb to be + subject

Affirmative: Subject + verb to be + possesive pronouns+ complement

The teacher explains the grammatical use for the activity, if there are student that don´t understand some thigs, will make a brief review.  



Practice:

I take several images and show the students, each one write in his/her notebook, besides follow showing the imagen, so each one going to write in the right form its Spanish form and then raise hand for giving the answer. After I give in Spanish the name family member and the student must give it in English.

Following the introductory part, realize the board activity which write the nuclear family and passes to several students to write the answer.
